Add-ons for Firefox

Firefox is my favorite browser because of all the awesome plugins available for it. Here is a list of my 5 favorite Firefox plugins I frequently use for web development:

  1. Firebug - http://getfirebug.com/ - inspect HTML/CSS and debug JavaScript

  2. Web Deveoper Toolbar - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-developer/ - easily disable JavaScript and individual stylesheets and also validate HTML/CSS

  3. HttpFox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/httpfox/ - record and analyze HTTP Traffic

  4. YSlow - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yslow/ - measure web page performance

  5. User Agent Switcher - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/ - change Firefox's default user agent to the iPhone or Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8
